The international award-winning British vocal ensemble Apollo5 delights audiences with versatile and engaging performances on the concert platform, singing repertoire ranging from renaissance, classical and contemporary choral music to folk, jazz and pop.

Frequently performing in their home city of London they have sung in venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Kings Place (London A Cappella Festival) and the Barbican. They regularly give concerts at their home, the Voces8 Centre.

Apollo5 is part of the Voces8 Foundation, the vocal music education charity that brings the power of singing to communities around the world. They lead regular workshops and masterclasses as well as long term projects and residency programmes in the UK and abroad.

Recent concert highlights include performing in the LIVE from London online festivals, performing at Via Aeterna Music Festival (France), La Folle Journée (Poland), Thüringer Bachwochen (Germany), Diocletian’s Palace in Split (Croatia), the Irish International A Cappella Festival (Dublin), and ChoirFest Middle East (Dubai). This season the group will perform in the UK, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, as well as the USA.

Apollo5 records for Voces8 Records. Their latest album “A Deep but Dazzling Darkness”, was described as being “magical stuff” in Limelight Magazine, and charted as a top 10 classical album in the UK charts. Other albums are “Where All Roses Go” (2021) and “O Radiant Dawn” (2019). They are featured on “Reflections”, with music composed by Paul Smith. Other albums include “The Spirit Like a Dove”, music by Josquin des Prez, “With a Song in my Heart”, an album of folk, jazz and pop, and “Journey” on the Edition Peters Sounds label featuring the group with former King’s Singer Paul Phoenix.

Apollo5 has welcomed Fraser Wilson as Associate Composer. Fraser will work closely with the group to create unique compositions and arrangements for the ensemble.
