Lunchtime Concert – Riccardo Pes
This year’s lunchtime concert features renowned ‘cellist, Riccardo Pes. The day before the first anniversary of the destruction of the Sycamore Gap tree on Hadrian’s Wall, Riccardo reprises his Lament for the Tree, which he first performed September last year at the site where the tree stood. The Lament is framed by JS Bach’s wonderful ‘Cello Suites, Nos 1 & 2.
