Horovod

Specialising in traditional folk and dance music from the Balkans, Greece and Turkey, Horovod is a recently-formed group picking up a large following in the region.  With clarinet, accordion and fiddle, they create a rich blend of melody and harmony which is complemented by the driving percussive sounds of tapan, darbuka and bouzouki.  Expect to hear frantic Bulgarian dance rhythms, meditative melodic improvisations, stomping klezmer freilachs and everything in between!
