Back by popular demand! Blending the passion and vitality of authentic Latin music with the smooth sound and virtuosity of the classical tradition, Classico Latino brings fresh perspective to the world of Latin-American music, breathing new life into songs from across the continent.
From their beginnings in Cambridge, Classico Latino has had a regular schedule of concerts around the UK, Europe and further afield. The group have performed live for Classic FM and on BBC Radio 3, at Saffron Hall, Nottingham Royal Concert Hall, festivals around the UK and Latin America, as well as being regular invitees to perform in Bogota, Colombia.
Their concert, which will guest feature the virtuosic violin of Cuban Omar Puente, showcases highlights from the group’s six albums, presenting the gorgeous songs of Latin America in beautiful and original arrangements for piano, violin and cello with the full line-up of Latin percussion, bass and vocals.
