Scottish guitarist Matthew McAllister is widely regarded as one of the most talented guitarists in Europe. Matthew has been delighting audiences worldwide with his insightful performances and effortless presentation in a concert career spanning well over a decade.

Matthew studied with Allan Neave at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and has performed in many of the world’s leading venues including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, London’s South Bank and Sage Gateshead. His recordings have been critically acclaimed.

In his lunchtime recital Matthew surveys many French connections down the centuries, including works by Couperin, Satie and Poulenc. The Paris Guitar Foundation described his playing as “captivating and beautiful”.
